Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy Leaked

Swiftly removed from the Microsoft Store

Another popular game bundle is leaked in what is known as the Tomb Raider: Definite Survival Trilogy. Leaked on the Microsoft Store, its presence was spotted by a Resetera user, before being quickly removed. It has a release date of March 18th.

Rebooted by developers Crystal Dynamics in 2013, this incarnation of Lara Croft is an archeologist turned survivalist, which follows her journey into becoming an iconic ‘tomb raider’ as she fights various villains along the way. Her story is told in the featured three installments; Tomb Raider: Definite Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definite Edition.

The trilogy is rumoured to be released on next generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It follows the modern trend in gaming whereby a trilogy of games in a series is remastered and re-released to newer consoles in a single package. Notable examples include Super Mario 3D All Stars, Jak and Daxter Collection, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the upcoming Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection.

Currently, a Netflix anime series is in development that is based on the reboot trilogy.
