Plus new information about next gen console versions
A new trailer for the 17th entry in Bandai-Namco Entertainment’s Tales series has been revealed, Tales of Arise. The JRPG will aim to reinvent the franchise for loyal fans as well as new ones. The games’ story delves into the themes of inheritance and evolution.
Announced for a September 9 release in Japan and worldwide release on September 10, the game will be available for PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows.
The developer has indicated that there will be a free upgrade from previous generation (PS4 and Xbox One) to newer generation versions (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S). It is worth mentioning that the PS5 version will support haptic feedback functionality.
Tales of Arise features 4K resolution and 60FPS, and will once again have Ufotable producing anime scenes. The game will contain the largest amount of anime scenes in the series yet.
