Steam adding restrictions for region price hoppers

Steam cracking down on regional price hoppers

It is going to be more difficult to purchase Steam games at cheaper prices from other regions. Value is introducing new measures by implementing limits on the amount of times one can change their account's country.

SteamDB tweets "Country may not be updated more than once every 3 months. Purchases can be completed using a payment method from your current region".

Regional prices differ in each country as they contingent on cost of living, average workforce salaries and more. Ultimately they are designed to make games more affordable and accessible for those living in less wealthy nations.

We wonder how successful these restrictions will be?
