Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order full details for next gen
EA lists all technical upgrades and save transfer information
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
EA has provided full details for the next generation console upgrades of the Respawn developed title.
The publisher says the game has higher resolution textures & assets, 4K/HDR resolution, improved 60 FPS performance and significantly faster loading time.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X features two graphical settings with performance mode (ON) – 1440p resolution at 60fps and performance mode (OFF) – 4K resolution at 30fps. Note the Xbox Series S is only offered at 1090p/60fps.
EA says save transfers will operate differently for each console.
When transferring from an Xbox One to Series X/S, the save file is drawn from either your cloud or on-console storage instantly.
The PS5 version requires a saved PS4 file from prior console playtime, cloud storage download or USB stick transfer. A prompt will say ‘import PS4 save data’, which you simply select.
Finally, all your trophies/achievements that were unlocked in the previous generation version of the game will unlock on the next-gen version if you transfer your save.
