S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 will be a three-month Microsoft exclusive
Revealed as part of leaked documents from Epic vs. Apple court battle

We now know S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 will be an exclusive to Microsoft platforms for three months, thanks to a leaked court-filing document from the Epic vs. Apple case. It states the post apocalyptic game is confirmed for a Q4 2021 release on the PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. As for a PlayStation release, it is a high probability once the exclusivity deal expires.

The game is developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World and is the fourth overall in the series. The developer describes it “as a unique blend of FPS, immersive sim and horror with a really thick atmosphere. One of the biggest open-worlds to date is yours to explore — along with an epic branching story with multiple endings”.
If you recall the article we covered on Chernobylite, you would not be blamed in noting the similarities. Chernobylite is actually developed by ex S.T.A.L.K.E.R developers.
So PlayStation owners, do you have high hopes now?
