Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) tech will be supported on the Unity game engine by end of 2021. It will allow Unity developers to develop stunning real-time ray traced worlds at high frame rates and resolutions, as well as greatly boosting performance for traditional rasterised graphics. DLSS uses AI-powered antialiasing to show images that resemble native resolution quality, and in some cases is even of higher quality.
The rumoured Nintendo Switch ‘Pro’ is widely believed to have DLSS support, making it more powerful than current Switch models though less powerful than the Sony or Microsoft consoles.
