Fortnite upgrade for Switch boosts resolution and performance

38% pixel increase for handheld mode

Just in time for what appears to be a home-bound Easter holidays for many, Epic has pushed out a new update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch that looks to make the game smoother and more stable.

Epic had this to say:

The update provides significantly improved resolution both in handheld and docked modes, resulting in images that are less blurry, without loss of performance. The update also provides a more consistent framerate, with fewer hitches, resulting in a smoother experience overall.

It's always good to see developers continue to support their games long after release, and with Fortnite continuing to be among the top spots on streaming services such as Twitch, it comes as no surprise Epic would love to maintain its long streak of success.
