Cricket 22 Announced

Making it to the next generation pitch

Cricket 22 - announcement

Big Ant Studios and Nacon have officially revealed Cricket 22.

Big Ant claims this new instalment will be “the most robust, substantial game of cricket that fans have ever seen”.

Cricket 22 will feature licensed competitions such as T20 Big Bash, England’s the Hundred, Caribbean Premier League and the Ashes.

New bowling and fielding controls, including “real-time ray tracing elements” will be added.

The career mode will be ‘deeply narrative’ driven with injury management and off-field commitments such as training and press conferences to be incorporated.

The game is set for launch on November 25, 2021 on PC, PS4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Owners of the PS4 and Xbox One can choose to upgrade freely to next gen versions. The Switch version of Cricket 22 will release sometime in January 2022.
