Hopefully it's not all bloat.
New job postings spotted by PCGamesN has revealed some interesting details about what players could expect from the fourth instalment of the immensely popular franchise. IP owner and publisher 2K Games formed a new studio - Cloud Chamber - in late 2019, which is confirmed to be developing the next entry in the Bioshock series.
Recent job listings from the studio detail a Senior Writer position who will be tasked with weaving "impactful, character-driven stories in an open world setting". Another opening mentions a Senior World Designer that can "enhance the Narrative of the world, and make the game world feel alive, encouraging players to stay and explore".
According to Cloud Chamber's Kelley Gilmore, the studio has already recruited many veteran developers of other successful franchises including Battlefield, Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed. The Art Director of the original Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, is also confirmed to be working on the game.
