Assassin's Creed Valhalla in game store see's a welcome decrease

Ubisoft appears to be listening after all

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Reda Shop

Ubisoft has taken an unexpected step in the right direction by announcing improvements to Reda's shop. The merchant currently offers a selection of exclusive weapons, armour and cosmetic packs which players can purchase through Opals - one of the game's three currency systems. Thankfully Opals can be earned without reaching for your real world wallet, instead by completing both daily and weekly quests from Reda.

After months of criticism towards the lack of rotation of these items, Ubisoft will increase the shop's weekly offering from 3 to 6, which the publisher says will "allow you to choose from a more diverse set of items".

Taking it a step further, the cost of selected cosmetic items (longship, settlement and tattoos) will decrease from 70-50 Opals to an enticing 35 Opals.

Valhalla still has a lot of life ahead of it, with the upcoming DLC Wrath of the Druids scheduled for April 29th. Does this change to Reda's shop seem significant enough? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
